Bradford-based Prestige Dental presented the Marie Curie hospice with a cheque following a fundraising event. The firm manged to raise nearly £1,900 through a Blooming Great Tea Party held recently at one of the Directors homes in Northowram. The event has raised money for the charity for the past 10 years  – but this year was the best one yet.

Since its fundraising began, the firm has raised just under £12,000 for Marie Curie’s Bradford hospice. It’s a cause close to the heart of Lucy Gabbitas, one of Prestige Dental’s directors, as her grandmother was cared for in the hospice. Like many, Lucy wanted to give something back in recognition of the care Marie Curie provided to her loved one.

Prestige were invited to the Bradford hospice to present the cheque and also have a look round the new Day Therapy unit. It includes a gym, hair salon and therapy treatment room, while activities from art to exercise classes are regularly held.
