Being a light cured composite, Primosplint has the lowest polymerization shrinkage of any material and the best dimensional stability. This means that the final result is a most precise passive fit after lightcuring. Primosplint provides the highest strength without any brittleness. It protects the natural dentition as well as the TMJ as the material is 'abrasion optimised'. Other uses include: implant surgical guides, implant x-ray guides, implant jigs and verification indexes, CT scanning guides and nightguards. Available as individual components or as a full kit which includes: 12 Primosplint rods, light cured bonding material, model separator, light cured glaze lacquer, cleaning liquid, instrument/finger separator.

I have been using Primosplint since Dentsply withdrew Triad from the market.
I had used Triad for over 30 years, for occlusal appliances, and was upset by its sudden and strange withdrawal.
However, having now used Primosplint for nearly 2 years now, I can honestly say it is a much superior product, and extremely accurate; which means I now no longer have to reline my Tanner Appliances in the mouth. It also appears to be stronger and very well suited to its function as an occlusal appliance material.
