Model Making Kit

The Prestige Dental Model Making Kit - ideal for Clinicians to produce patient casts in surgery without any mess, dust, vibrators or model trimmers. There are no mixing bowls or spatulas to wash, or the need to hold large tubs of stone in storage.

Kit consists of:

• Set of 10 of our assorted Rimlock Stainless Steel Trays
• Corresponding Kit of our silicone model formers (designed to fit each individual tray)
• Pack of 18 tubs of Instant Stone (pre-measured powder and liquid stone)

Once you have taken the impression, trim off the excess impression material from around the periphery of the tray and select the matching size of model former. Place this over the tray and then puncture the lid of the Instant Stone powder pot with the pre-measured liquid bottle. Express the liquid into the stone powder pot and shake vigorously for a minute. The slurry of mixed stone can then be poured into the impression and will set to a working hardness in 10 minutes (class IV die stone).

This kit is especially useful if you want to produce your own casts for mounting on an articulator for diagnostic purposes. Alternatively, you may wish to produce your own bleaching trays, custom mouthguards, special trays, stents splints (see PrimoSplint) and many other applications.
