Best Bits 1 – Industry events: COLOGNE & THE INTERNTIONAL DENTAL SHOW

The 41st show in Cologne is held only every 2 years and billed as the world’s leading fair for the dental community. We were 2 of over 120,000 visitors from over 160 different countries, so it was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the industry, discover new innovations, and gather inspiration for the months ahead.

Bologna was sizzling around 35°c+, but we kept cool in the immersive learning suite whilst we were also delighted to take guests this time, to share this unique congress experience. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the rain, donated, and volunteered to make this year’s event no less of a success than previous – despite the wet weather! Best Bits 3 – Industry support: COURSES, STUDY GROUPS & RECALIBRATION SERVICES

Prestige continues to support dental courses across the UK through the loan of our occlusion equipment for vital ‘hands on’ learning. In 2025 we’ve supported 55 courses, tutoring a total of just under 1,000 students!  We also present at Study Groups and provide essential recalibration services to maintain client’s Denar equipment which has seen Paul put in the miles this year.

We’re quite a social bunch at team Prestige, often getting together outside office hours along with the extended Prestige family of partners, relatives and friends – any excuse to celebrate! Whether its quizzes, birthdays, BBQ’s, Galentines get together, messing around on boats – rain or shine, staff reunions, or following the latest craze and creating action figures of Lucy and Paul! The real petrol heads amongst us can also be seen regularly at various race circuits supporting @khanage_racing in the Porsche Club AM Championship – congrats on his 2nd place this season.

After 22 years we said goodbye to our amazing accountant, steady hand Bill in April, although Alek is doing a great job replacing him, but he’s a hard act to follow! And finally, we were thrilled to introduce a new (and the tiniest) member to our office team in September – Milo. He remains in’ good paws’ with Uncles Bear and Alfie our seasoned office dogs keeping him in line!
