Our Course Loanstock Service

At Prestige Dental we have always been passionate about education in dentistry. Technical expertise is the cornerstone of our industry, so the need for hands-on practical classroom sessions is essential, not least to maintain the high standards of our profession. However, this then creates a big demand for the availability of expensive dentistry equipment for every course and each attendee.

Over the years we have amassed an enviable stock of equipment for this very purpose and developed our unique Loanstock Service – available on request to every UK dentistry course provider. From facebows to articulators, fully tailored kits with consumables and other unique combinations made-up to order, this travels the country throughout the year supporting upwards of 50 courses in any one year.

The equipment is precision maintained by Director and technical guru, Paul Martin who often gets hands-on himself at courses and ensures equipment is delivered when and where it is needed, overcoming tricky logistics and tight turnarounds.

Our Course Provider Support

If you have never explored the Courses www.prestige-dental.co.uk/dental-courses/ section of our website, you are missing a treat!

To help dental students identify what learning is available, when and in what area, we invite Course Providers to supply information about their dental programmes and feature them in this section. We also offer Providers the opportunity to create with us, a bespoke occlusion toolkit of consumables and equipment that they deem essential for students studying with them.  

We have never made a charge for creating either of these services, so if you are a dental course provider and want to be included on our website in our courses section or are interested in creating an occlusion kit for your students, please email loanstock@prestige-dental.co.uk for more info.    

But that’s not all …

Both Lucy and Paul are always delighted, as and when their diary permits, to attend courses we support.  With his technical expertise, Paul is very often is drawn into the practical’s, happy to help students with the finer points of the equipment and share his 46 years of knowledge.     

Our Student Web Portal

And there is still more … Launched in 2024 we developed a unique Delegate Web Portal for dentistry students on courses supported by Prestige Dental

Accessible only by a unique QR code, the code is provided in packs made up for every student and delivered with the Loanstock equipment from Prestige. This gives exclusive access to FREE dental goodies, course offers and other helpful resources including the Course Kits recommended by individual Course Providers. There is also an additional 10% discount on an extensive range of over 30 occlusion products, specially selected for course delegates.

Our Denar Specialist Repair & Recalibration Services

Precision equipment needs precision care. To keep your articulators performing at their best and crucially to remain in sync with your clinical partners, we offer a bespoke recalibration and repair service for both Denar Articulators and Facebows.

Led by our technical guru, Director Paul Martin, his skills include identifying all the fine adjustments required for delicate instrumentation as well as the ability to identify damaged parts and provide practical advice. Paul has successfully brought back to life many ‘OAP’ Denars, much to their owner’s delight. For multiple units he is happy to do on-site visits and, in the past, has tackled 20 articulators in the same day although it was a very long one!
