MagnaCap is a titanium-based magnetic attachment system - it can be used in combination with all the worlds leading implant systems including Brånemark, Straumann, Frialit-2, Sterioss, 3i, Tatum and Osteo-ti. Easy to use they are autoclavable up to 1370C and have a low profile for optimum bone support and oral hygiene. It is the outcome of UK Scientific and Clinical research with functional durability and corrosion resistance. Suitable for use fitted to supporting implants or root abutments.

Unlike alternative systems MagnaCap is a Neodymium based magnet that can withstand heat during laboratory procedures without loosing its magnetism.

Figure 2a and 2b: Place the Magnacap/Magnabutment into a matching size Hand/Latch Capfit tool

Figure 3a and 3b: Screw the Magnacap/Magnabutment. Figure 3b shows a fitted Magnacap.

Figure 4a and 4b: Fit the Magnabutments to implant fixture at second stage surgery exposure or after use on a healing abutment.

Figure 5a and 5b: Place a Mini/Maxi Transfer Magnet on the matching size Magnacap/Magnabutment.

Figure 6a and 6b:Take a muco-compressive impressive with transfer magnets in place. Cast a model in super hard stone plaster, with lab analogue abutments seated on the transfer magnet.

Figure 7a and 7b:When the model is set, remove the transfer magnets. Place the prosthesis magnet with fitted locator ring on the replica keeper in the model. Remove the locator ring when the resin is heat cured. Finish the processed prosthesis.

Figure 8a, 8b and 8c: Place the prosthesis magnet with fitted locator ring on the Magnacap/Magnabutment.The magnets are cured in the denture directly in the mouth. Check accurate seating of the prosthesis. reseat the denture and allow the resin to fully cold cure with the denture in occlusion.
