Technovent introduce Technoloc™, a medically approved threadlock adhesive, specifically for use with implant precision threaded attachment and abutment system.

1. A small drop of Technoloc™ adhesive is dispensed onto a clean surface and a micro applicator dipped into the drop. 2. Using the micro applicator, the screw thread of a Magnacap® is lightly coated with Technoloc™ adhesive 3. The Magnicap® is tightened into the magnabutment, in the normal way. 4. The Magnacap® assembly is ready for use.


  • Technoloc™ is an anaerobic adhesive, which cures in the absence of oxygen. This makes it ideal for use in implant systems. Full polymerisation occurs typically within 12-24 hours.
  • The breaking strength of Technoloc™ has been carefully designed so that attachment screws can be removed by hand tool, even after full polymerisation is reached.
  • Technoloc™ acts as a seal against ingress of fluids and bacteria.
  • Technoloc™ is easy to use and requires very small quantities, making it a cost effective and simple solution to the problem of vibration loosening.
  • Technoloc™ was specifically developed for use in titanium-to-titanium thread linked assemblies, but can be used with other metal/alloy combinations.
  • Technoloc™ is safe for use in implant precision attachment systems and is CE marked for medical use.
