Bitewing-Pro

Here's how it works

Simply centre the film in the clasp on the Bitewing-Pro. You can choose regular or vertical bitewings. For horizontal bitewings line up the X-ray cone with the inside of the cone indicator. For vertical bitewings line up the X-ray cone with the outside of the cone indicator. Using the handle, position the film in the patient's mouth and have them bite down. The absence of a stiff, cardboard bite tab, the increased flexibility of the film and the added control of the Bitewing-Pro handle make this part of the procedure much easier. Using the Bitewing-Pro handle you or your patient can remove the film without ever putting your fingers in their mouth.
