Parkell - Small EquipmentPeriosonic Multi-Fluid Irrigator The Periosonic® Multi-Fluid Irrigator transforms any ultrasonic scaler into a sophisticated antimicrobial delivery system. All you need is a thin perio insert, and you can flood deep pockets with your choice of irrigants at the same time you ultrasonically debride the root. Put water in one reservoir and chlorhexidene in the other. Or fill the second reservoir with sodium fluoride for your hypersensitive patients. You select the irrigant by flipping a switch. Small enough for a crowded operatory The Periosonic Multi-Fluid Irrigator is small (4"W x 7"L x 8" H), so it sits comfortably beside (or even on top of) your ultrasonic scaler. And it’s a snap to install yourself. The basic model takes perhaps 15 minutes to connect to your airline and scaler. Then you just fill the dual reservoirs with your choice of irrigants ... and you’re ready to roll.Two models to fit your needs The basic model is designed for practices that prefer an isolated water-source for scaling. Fill one reservoir with water and the other with an irrigating solution (chlorhexidene, povidone iodine, whatever.) Then simply flip the switch to “water” for conventional scaling, and “antimicrobial” for periodontal cases. Periosonic Model “W” gives you the additional option of using your water line for routine scaling. In other words, you get a choice of three fluids (either of the liquids in the reservoirs or standard tap water).Periosonic® Multi-Fluid Irrigator - Basic Unit (Stock No. D583). Includes control station, two reservoir bottles, air-tubing with "T" connection, and built-in one-way check valve to prevent aspiration of potentially infectious fluids.
