Parkell - Restorative ProductsSNAP Starter Kit![]() In separate tests conducted by researchers at Fairleigh Dickinson and UCLA, direct SNAP temporaries showed better marginal fit than every other material they examined. Better than Jet® (as much as 90% better!1 Better than Triad® and Protemp.®1 Better than Duralay® and 5 other popular resins.2 Stronger than conventional materials. Another study recently described in the Journa l of Dental Research found SNAP significantly stronger than Caulk,® GC,® Protemp® or Scutan®3 Preferred by patients. An independent team of clinical researchers discovered that patients reported less burning and aftertaste with SNAP than with traditional methyl methacrylate materials.4 Cure outside the mouth. Cut back the margin with conventional scissors. Before it sets, SNAP enters a unique plastic stage. After 4 minutes, you can remove the crown (even from undercuts!) and let it cure outside the mouth to avoid thermal insult. You can trim the still-flexible margin with conventional scissors. And once it’s completely polymerized, you can reseat the temporary, generally without occlusal or marginal adjustments.
