Laschal - Surgical & Restorative InstrumentsLasner-DaMan Tissue Forceps
Problem
A problem exists in handling fragile tissue flaps and grafts with conventional instruments. Until now, there were two choices in tissue forceps: Rat-toothed forceps (Adsons) grasp by penetrating or puncturing a small zone of tissue. Serrated forceps or hemostats do not puncture, but they gain retention by inadvertently crushing a broader area of tissue, Particularly when used in the non-dominant hand. The instrument choice often depends on which forceps is less traumatic to the specific tissue involved. Both can cause microvascular damage and compromise healing. Solution Lasner-DaMan Tissue Forceps ![]() Lasner-DaMan Tissue Forceps significantly reduce microvascular damage to improve healing. They virtually eliminate penetration or crushing of thin, fragile tissue and loss of harvested grafts down the suction apparatus.
