Endo Point Forceps

Problem

A problem exists in having to rely on inflexible, non-tactile cotton pliers or forceps to deliver gutta percha or paper points to the canal. Because these instruments are not designed for this purpose, their performance is less than ideal. “Feeling” the orifice when placing the last few GP points during lateral condensation is difficult due to the reduced opening and a lack of tactile feedback. Missing the orifice leads to the curled GP points, wasting time and material.
