Edentalink Software, available from Prestige Dental is a fully secured electronic tool which connects the dental clinic with the Laboratory on a real time basis. It’s primary purpose is to significantly reduce the verbal communications required- but often difficult. Using your Lab’s electronic RX Form, a dental practice creates a specific file to which original and Clinicians annotated pictures are added. Important information such as colour shade, requested date of return and specific work to be carried out are added for clarity. Clinicians are notified automatically when additional information is required, or if the expected date of completion is later than the requested date. Clinicians and their staff can therefore allocate more accurately the patient visit and ensure their chair time is maximised.

FEATURES FOR DENTIST’S

• Create a patient file which includes:
  • Personal Information.
  
  • Specific work to be done by the Lab (work request)
  • Images of the patients current teeth.
  • Annotated images of said teeth, describing work to be done and specific areas to be dealt with.
  • Patients current teeth colour (shading) to be matched by the Lab.
  • General typewritten notes/requests by the dental technicians and dentists.
  • Patient next appointment for fitting (provides a deadline for the Lab)
  • Select Lab for work to be sent. Reduce time and error by filling the electronic Laboratories form adequately.
  • Upload to the EDentalink server the entire patient file, so that all information can be retrieved by the specific Lab.
