Occlusal Sketch

Occlusal sketching is a technique of recording onto an acetate sheet, a sketch of the occlusal marks made in the patient's mouth by articulating paper or foil. The sheet is pre-printed and shows schematic representations of the upper & lower teeth.
Different pen colours are used to record the static and dynamic occlusions onto the tooth outlines.
This technique was developed, in conjunction with colleagues, by DR Stephen Davies a leading teacher in occlusal studies.
